1686Carlos II issued a Royal Decree granting Agaña (Guam) the title of city with the name of San Ignacio de Agaña.
1746Painter Francisco de Goya y Lucientes is born in Fuendetodos (Spain). He is the sublime master painter who portrayed the history of Spain in the 18th and part of the 19th century.
