1260Louis IX of France attends the inauguration of the spectacular Cathedral of Our Lady Of the Assumption in Chartres, considered to be the canon of Gothic architecture.
1733Secret treaty between Spain and France to expulse the Emperor from Italy, give Milan to Savoy-Sardinia and install don Carlos in Naples/Sicily (with reversion Spain).
1790The first issue of Papel Periódico de La Havana was published.
1833At the age of only 3, Isabel II is proclaimed Queen of Spain. Her mother would exercise the regency until 1840. Prince Carlos María Isidro refused to recognise her as queen, which provoked the 1st Carlist War.
