Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera, military man, explorer, conquistador and Spanish adelantado in South America, dies. He was Corregidor and Justicia Mayor in Potosí, and Governor of Tucumán. He founded the cities of Ica (Peru) and Córdoba de la Nueva Andalucía (Argentina).
